Has all the tools necessary, and nothing more - pretty intuitive too - did a great sunset time lapse first try!
Perfect App for Stop-Motion. But absolutely missing is a feature, to record a movie in reverse order or to playback or create the movie from the fotos by reverse order. Thats definitly missing. Also the playback LOOP is annoying. Everything else is perfect.
After being disappointed with Gorillacam for not being able to take pictures reliably any quicker than at 5-second intervals I thought Id give this app a try. It works very well! Very happy with it. Ive done a few tests with it at 3 seconds per frame and theyve turned out great. Done some quick tests with it at quicker intervals, too, and for the most part it works pretty well. As you go to shorter and shorter intervals it can start to pause now and then, but the limitation is definitely in the hardware, and not this app, as far as I can tell.
They said wow just in a epic way they were really meaning that you have to get it!!! (even theres a "died" Emoji in the I title.)
I do not use this app but my son likes it. To me it does seem a little confusing at times.
This app is great for making simple stop-motion animations using the iPad built in camera. But the in-app purchase ability to unlock importing photos from your albums makes this app absolutely fantastic! Easy to use, with just a little trial and error learning curve, importing photos allows you to create animations and time lapse videos using much better cameras. I have been using the app to produce wonderful time-lapse videos, taking the photos with my digital camera, loading them into my iPad, then importing them into Oh Snap. Highly recommended.

Some bad moments

Painful app that is awkward to use, especially if you want to take photos from your camera roll into a time lapse. Poor support/help combined with very limited options (which they charge you extra to enable) make this a 1 star. Waste of time and money.
I found the shooting and all the other features (such as overlays, controls) fine, but I quickly filled up all the storage on my Iphone. You cant access the photos through itunes file sharing, so I needed to go through a painstaking process of manuall selecting each of the 3400 photos in my project and "exporting" them, which took a long time. Then subsequently grabbing them off my phone over usb. This program needs to work with filesharing so that images can be pulled out over usb.
Not very user friendly to start with and poor export options. Ran out of room on my phone and found it impossible to export the movie. If only there was a way to send it to something useful. There are plenty of other time lapse apps out there. I suggest you avoid this one
Functionality is broken. Waste of time. I will be seeking a refund.
This app is simple to use, yet very customizable and effective. Choose your time interval and a few other settings, lock the focus, metering, and white balance, and hit the timer button to start a time lapse. Be aware that you need a fully charged battery before you begin. For longer time lapse videos, plug in the device (use extension cords if necessary).
Been using this app for many time lapse movies now. Definitely worth the money; great app.
